Seized Supercars In Geneva Will Be Auctioned In September For Estimated $13 Million

Supercars are one the best segments in the automotive industry. From its incredibly fast acceleration to its aesthetic designs, there’s no doubt about these beasts. However, the downside is when it is illegally shipped or purchased.

The ever controversial tandem of Equatorial Guinea’s President and Vice President which happens to be a father and son duo has been the longest reign in their country.

African dictator Teodoro Nguema Mbasogo and son Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue have been linked to various controversies in their stay as head of states. One of such controversy is the supercars which was seized in Geneva, Switzerland three years ago.

Due to a money-laundering case with mismanagement of his country’s fund, the 48-year old’s collection will now be auctioned this September which is estimated to be $13 Million in total.

Although they appealed for the release of the said supercars in June 2017, the Swiss court have thrashed the petition.

Of the about 25 supercars seized includes the following: McLaren P1, Koenigsegg One : 1, Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Veneno.
