Italian supercar manufacturer Maserati are on the comeback trail this year as they will be releasing its latest unit, but it has to wait for a little longer as their plan has been tweaked for a bit.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 Maserati MC20’s release will be rescheduled on September because the original plan to make it publicly available on May is not feasible as of the moment.
This is the re-introduction of the brand in the competitive automotive market particularly in the supercar segment where competition has been tight and crowded for quite some time now.
The MC20 model will feature a twin-turbo V6 that is packed with over 600 horsepower in an 8-speed automatic transmission, which also has some flavor from the Alfa Romeo 4C.
Details of having a hybrid model and a electric-battery ran units were also revealed by the brand, although some major information are not yet fully shared with the public as of the moment.
Price is set to start at $160,000 when the 2021 Maserati MC20 hit the dealership.
